The Hydrogen Frontier Opens

AQUA starts from a deliberately awkward premise: planetary water is not only a question of atmospheres, rocks, or biology in isolation. It is what happens when those systems exchange matter and energy over time, sometimes politely, often not.

This placeholder dispatch will eventually introduce the project aims, research team, field and laboratory strategy, and the reasons microbial hydrogen oxidation belongs in conversations about hydrogen escape and long-term water loss.
